Earthquake Safety Awareness and First Aid

A workshop on Earthquake Safety Awareness and First Aid was organized by BNUS, BUET in collaboration with Narinda Government High School, held on November 18-19, 2006 at Narinda Government High School, Dhaka. Thirty selected students of the school was trained by two trained members of Youth Wings, Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Dhaka. First Aid Workshop was implemented as a part of earthquake safety awareness program. Prior to this project, school awareness about safety was very low. The first aid training of this project at schools has greatly increased safety awareness. Students learnt about personal safety, safety of others and first aid.
