Earthquake Safety Awareness and First Aid

A three days workshop on Earthquake Safety Awareness and First Aid was organized by BNUS, BUET in collaboration with Armenitola Government High School, held on December 10-12, 2006 at Armenitola Govt. High School, Dhaka. Thirty three selected students of the school was trained by three trained members of Youth Wings, Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Dhaka. First Aid Workshop was implemented as a part of earthquake safety program. Prior to this project, school awareness about safety was very low. The first aid training of this project at schools has greatly increased safety awareness. Students learnt about personal safety, safety of others and first aid. At the end of the workshop certificates were awarded to the students, attended.
