INAUGURATION CEREMONY OF BNUS
The Bangladesh Network Office for Urban Safety (BNUS) was inaugurated by the honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. A. M. M. Safiullah of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology on 6 December, 2006, Wednesday at the 4th floor of Civil Engineering Building, BUET, Dhaka. The chief guests were Prof. Taketo Uomoto and Prof. Kimiro Meguro of the University of Tokyo. The honorable Dean of Civil Engineering Faculty, Prof. Md Hossain Ali, and Head of the Civil Engineering Department Prof. Md. Mazharul Haque, were present in the occasion. Other respected teachers of the Civil Engineering Department were also present in the ceremony. The program has been conducted by the staffs of BNUS in direct supervision of Dr. Munaz Ahmed Noor, Project Manager of BNUS.
